Provides same-day urgent care for individuals with unexpected, non-life threatening health concerns when the individual is unable to access a family doctor or care provider. Deals with illnesses and injuries that should be addressed by a health care provider within 12 to 24 hours but do not require the level of service or expertise found in an emergency department, such as sprains and strains, high fever, new or worsening pain, nausea, diarrhea and constipation, and cuts, wounds or skin conditions. All visits are walk-in only; appointments not available. Patients are seen according to urgency. Offices are located in Bella Coola, Gibsons, North Vancouver, Pemberton, Powell River, Richmond, Sechelt, Squamish, Vancouver, West Vancouver, and Whistler. Office hours vary. Due to high patient volumes, may stop accepting new patients prior to closing.
