Violence Prevention Support Program for Arabic Speaking Women

Provides one-on-one support, emotional support, safety planning, referrals to transition houses, and advocacy to Arabic-speaking women who are going through domestic violence, or who are survivors of domestic violence. Offers access and navigation to the legal system, court orientation and preparation, liaising with lawyers, crown counsels, and other service providers. Program hours are 9am – 5 pm Tuesday to Friday; as of April 2025, hours will be 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday to Thursday. Support group meetings are held from 11 am to 1 pm Wednesdays, and include workshops, guest speakers, community connections. Accepts self-referrals. Serves Vancouver. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
