Women and Families Outreach offers one-on-one relational support and connection with immediate help such as emergency food hampers, diapers, bus tickets, clothing, and referrals to women with or without children; services are by appointment 9:30 am to 11 am and 1:30 pm to 3 pm Monday to Friday. Also offers weekly drop-in group activities for women and families such as park days, cooking, family games, and crafts; hours are 2 pm to 4 pm Mondays. Monthly out trips are available by sign up from May to September. Also offers limited drop-in for community family meals at The Chapel at 616 East Cordova at 5 pm Tuesdays. Also provides afterschool care for children ages eight to 12 years. Open to families in the neighbourhood. Centre reception hours are 9 am to 8:30 pm Monday to Friday.
