  Provides stabilization housing for youth ages 17 to 24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Program support includes case management, advocacy, life skills, referrals and community connections, and day-to-day assistance and problem solving. Referral required from a housing or advocacy community services partner. Youth will also need to complete a Vulnerability Assessment application.

  Assists seniors age 65 and over who are in general good health, but require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include light housekeeping and lawn services. Also offers grocery shopping and friendly visits for clients receiving housekeeping services. Serves Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Clinton, and surrounding area. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm Mondays and 12 noon to 5 pm Thursdays to Fridays. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way British Columbia (UWBC).

  Connects adults ages 65 and over with local, non-clinical community services that promote overall health and well-being. Serves older adults who may be at higher risk of frailty due to social isolation, physical inactivity, recent loss, life transitions, or other barriers to support. Works collaboratively with participants to address social needs as part of their broader health and wellness goals. Supports may include physical activity programs, social and recreational programs, nutrition and food security resources, caregiver supports, and other community and information services. Ongoing, individualized support is provided until seniors are able to independently access and engage with community programs. Open referral. Serves Kamloops.   Offers support services and short-term residential stays (up to 14 days) for youth ages 13 to 18 of all genders. Services include basic needs support for food security, emergency shelter, and advocacy. Encourages youth to act responsibly and safely, and to make positive changes in their lives. In partnership with Youth Street Outreach services, assists those who are street involved to adopt a healthier lifestyle. The Kamloops Youth Shelter provides a safe place to stay year-round, 24 hours a day, seven days a week; self-referral is welcome. Not wheelchair accessible; cannot accommodate pets.

  Provides a variety of programs based in food access, food skills, education, and engagement.

  Provides a variety of programs based in food access, food skills, education, and engagement. Programming includes community meals, affordable produce markets, culinary classes, gardening classes, access to community gardens and a variety of supports to seniors. Serves community meals from 12 noon to 1 pm Mondays and Thursdays. The Market offers affordable produce from 10 am to 2 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. A variety of food skills programs are delivered through out the week. Seniors supports include the Better at Home Program (listed separately), and non-medical supports such as grocery shopping assistance, food hamper delivery, farmers market coupons, and Meals on Wheels. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
