Provides a wide range of community-based rehabilitation services and resources to people with physical disabilities in Canada to maximize independence, personal empowerment, and community participation. Services include systemic advocacy and funding of disability programs and research. In BC, the focus is on employment services and on stroke recovery and acquired brain injury programs and services. The stroke recovery program is offered in partnership with After Stroke BC. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday, by appointment only. Funded in part by the Province of BC and by the Government of Canada. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
