Programs offer immigration and settlement services, labour market services, and language services. Programs serve refugee claimants, temporary foreign workers, post-secondary international students, provincial nominees who are awaiting permanent residency approval, and naturalized citizens who despite being in Canada for several years, may continue to be dependent on settlement support; there may be eligibility restrictions for some services.

First step in the appeal process for property assessments. Provides property owners with an independent panel for review of property assessments in BC. Reviews and holds 30-minute, semi-formal hearings on property assessment complaints. Investigates and adjudicates property assessments and issues a formal Decision Notice after a hearing. The deadline for filing a property assessment complaint with the review panel is January 31 and hearings occur from early February to March 15 each year; if they do not agree with the decision of the Property Assessment Review Panel, they have until April 30 to file and appeal with the Appeal Board.

Oversees the relationship between landlords and tenants and is responsible for the administration of the Residential Tenancy Act and the Manufactured Home Park Tenancy Act.

Oversees the relationship between landlords and tenants and is responsible for the administration of the Residential Tenancy Act and the Manufactured Home Park Tenancy Act. Provides information and tips to help landlords and tenants have successful tenancies. If disputes come up, the Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) can help parties resolve the issues. Landlords and tenants can apply for dispute resolution with the RTB if they can't resolve a problem related to their tenancy. Also reviews and responds to complaints about staff conduct and the hearing process. The complaint process is not for dispute resolution decisions, and the RTB is not able to change the outcome of a hearing.
Services may be accessed by phone, email, or through self-serve kiosks at the office. Applications, evidence, and payments are primarily submitted online, but can also be done in person; check Service BC website (www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/governments/organizational-structure/ministries-organizations/ministries/citizens-services/servicebc) regarding submitting documents and payments. Notice of Dispute Resolution Hearing packages are generally emailed, but may also be picked up in person. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday, except on the last Wednesday of the month when the office is open from 11 am to 4 pm.
