Provides a range of services to support newcomers to Canada including settlement assistance, language classes, employment services, and family supports. Settlement services include information and referral to community services, workshops on a topics about life in BC, and access to interpretation, translation, and counselling support. Employment services include personalized support for resume writing, interview preparation, and job searching. Family services include school and kindergarten registration, school support through social workers in schools (SWIS), and childminding for clients who attend English classes on site. Serves Central Vancouver Island (Campbell River, Courtenay, Comox, Gabriola Island, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Parksville, Port Alberni, and Qualicum Beach). Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.

Supports the social and economic integration of newcomers who are ineligible to receive federally funded services. Serves temporary foreign workers, international students, provincial nominees awaiting permanent residency, and recently naturalized citizens still in need of settlement support. Immigration and settlement services include orientation, information and referral to community services, and trauma counselling. Labour market services include job market information, connection to employment opportunities, employment counselling, and assistance accessing WorkBC and other training programs. Additional support includes education on workplace rights, responsibilities, and culture. Language services include conversation groups and English language training. Serves Central Vancouver Island (Gabriola Island, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Parksville, Port Alberni, and Qualicum Beach). Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Helps unemployed or underemployed skilled newcomers find work that matches their pre-arrival skills and experience.

Helps unemployed or underemployed skilled newcomers find work that matches their pre-arrival skills and experience. Eligible applicants must have permanent residency within the previous ten years; certification in a profession or trade from their home country; and relevant work experience. Applicants between the ages of 19 and 30 need at least one year of experience. Intermediate to advanced English language proficiency is required.

Stream 2 program supports individuals needing assistance with upgrading credentials for regulated BC occupations; services include individual career coaching and help with building an action plan, financial support for upgrading skills (including language training), and help with preparing for exams. Stream 3 program supports individuals needing assistance with upgrading for unregulated BC occupations; services include individual career coaching, help with building an action plan, and financial support for upgrading skills (including language training).
