Provides education and support focusing on nutrition for pregnant and new mothers of all ages.
Provides education and support focusing on nutrition for pregnant and new mothers of all ages. Provides access to food vouchers, eggs, bread, prenatal vitamins, vitamin D drops, diapers, baby clothing, baby toys and furniture. Provides follow-up support for six months after delivery. Two classes are held weekly from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and 11 am to 12 noon on Thursdays; intake is continuous. Serves Chilliwack. Funded by Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) as a Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP).
