  Offers free counselling to adult survivors of family violence, sexual assault, or historical sexual abuse. Also offers outreach services, advocacy, case management, transportation and accompaniment to medical, legal, and social service appointments, and referrals to other community agencies. Support groups are available for people who have experienced violence or abuse in an intimate partner relationship. Referral accepted from self or other. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Serves North Delta, Ladner, and Tsawwassen. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG) as a Stopping the Violence (STV) Counselling Program.

  Volunteers assist seniors age 65 and older who are in general good health, but require help with daily tasks to maintain independent living within their home and community for as long as possible.

  Volunteers assist seniors age 65 and older who are in general good health, but require help with daily tasks to maintain independent living within their home and community for as long as possible. Services include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, minor home repair, basic yard work, and rides to medical appointments (details below). Fees for service are on a sliding scale based on income. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by the Province of BC and managed by United Way BC.
  
  Provides transportation to medical appointments for seniors and individuals with health conditions. Individuals must be a resident of Delta. Services include space for personal attendant. Can accommodate walker depending on vehicle and service animals. Pick-up location is limited to Delta and drop-off location is from the North Shore to Langley (includes Burnaby, Coquitlam, Langley, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver, West Vancouver, and White Rock). Service is available daytime hours, any day pending volunteer availability. Transportation is by car with a volunteer driver. Booking is required five to seven days in advance preferably; booking hours can be made direct during office hours or by voice mail. Multiple appointments may be booked in one trip. 24 hours notice is required to cancel a trip. Preregistration is required; apply through the agency. Cost to client is on a sliding scale based on income with subsidy available, and clients are responsible for parking; clients are invoiced monthly.

  The Emergency Food Cupboard assists low-income Delta residents who are in crisis situations by providing emergency food, food vouchers, and bus tickets.

  The Emergency Food Cupboard assists low-income Delta residents who are in crisis situations by providing emergency food, food vouchers, and bus tickets. In addition, clients are given information on other resources for food available in the community. Throughout the growing season, the Community Garden provides bags of fresh vegetables through spring, summer, and early fall for those in need; they can be picked up at the North Delta office when available. The Bread Gleaning program administers a weekly bread gleaning program that is distributed to various community partners. Also provides Christmas programs for low-income Delta residents and their dependents, such as the Christmas Hamper Project and a Toy Depot. Contact the agency by phone to access these programs.

Does not provide but can assist with referrals to mental health and dementia assessments; trauma and/or long-term counselling; dialectical behavioural therapy; personal or home care; and medication management.   Offers various free services to seniors and people with a disability who live in Delta. Produces a 'Delta Community Seniors Handbook,' which lists community resources and services. Through the Seniors Phone Shopping Program, seniors and people with a disability can call in grocery orders which are then filled and delivered; Volunteer Driving offers transportation to medical appointments for seniors who have no other means of transportaton; a fee based on travel distance is charged to cover mileage costs. Seniors must also pay any parking fees. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.

The Substance Use Education Group is an six-week drop-in group for adults who have substance use issues or who are being affected by someone else's substance use. Clients must attend all education group modules in order to waitlist for individual counselling. Services may be available in Farsi, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, depending on staff availability.
