  Provides safe and secure temporary shelter and support services for women (including self-identified women), with or without children, who are fleeing or who are at risk of gender-based violence; accepts male children up to age 18. Accepts women from out of the province. Length of stay is 30 days, may be extended as long as actively looking for new accommodation Gives women a safe and supportive living environment with access to daily living requirements such as clothing, toiletries, and nutritious meals. Also provides transportation, accompaniment, and advocacy support, as well as assists clients in accessing financial assistance, legal aid, and affordable housing. Offers resource information to enable women to explore their options and define their goals as well as to assist with the development of safety plans. Personal identification (ID) is not required. Wheelchair accessible. Accepts pets; animal can be with owner in her room. Funded by BC Housing.

Serves victims of adult sexual assault, childhood sexual assault/abuse, criminal harrassment, historical sexual abuse, and violence in relationships. Services include emotional and practical support; support groups for abused women; advocacy; information about the justice system and case progression; court orientation; accompaniment to court, hospital, and police; transportation; form completion assistance; and referral to community resources. Offers third party reporting to victims of sexual assault of any age or gender; staff report the assault to police on behalf of the victim who remains anonymous. Personal identification (ID) is not required. Limited wheelchair access; main floor accessibility except to the kitchen. Can only accommodate one family's pets. Length of stay is up to 30 days. Serves the Lakes District (Burns Lake and surrounding area). Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week; also operates a 24-hour crisis and support line. Accepts dependent children of either gender up to age 18. Accepts individuals from out of province. Provides emotional support, safety planning and referrals. Also provides transportation, accompaniment, and advocacy support, as well as assists clients in accessing financial assistance, legal aid, and affordable housing. Length of stay is up to 18 months. Medium-barrier house. Personal identification (ID) is not required. Priority is on a first-come, first-served need basis. Rent for second-stage housing is 30% of a resident's income or the provincial shelter rate for those receiving income or disability assistance. Wheelchair accessible. Accepts pets if animal can be with owner in room. Funded in part by BC Housing.

  Provides transitional supported housing for self-identified women with children who are leaving unsafe relationships and who have safety issues. Tenant support worker provides information, resources, and referrals. Tenancy is an average of one year, with a maximum of two years; as women become stronger and more self-sufficient they are supported to move on to more permanent housing. Referral is required from a community agency. Housing consists of 11 two- and three-bedroom units. One pet is acceptable per unit. One unit is wheelchair accessible. Funded by BC Housing.
