Provides trauma-informed health and forensic care to individuals of any gender ages 13 and over who have experienced intentional person-to-person violence within the past seven days.
Types of violence addressed include sexual assault, domestic and family violence, intimate partner violence, human trafficking and exploitation, and child abuse, assault, and mistreatment. A forensic nurse reviews the individual's health, social, and legal needs in a safe and private setting, and provides compassionate, comprehensive, and culturally sensitive medical-forensic evaluation based on the individual's preferences and decisions. Also offers referral to follow-up medical, social, and legal resources. Accessed through the emergency department at Surrey Memorial Hospital; individuals may present to the emergency room at any Fraser Health hospital and request a referral to the forensic nurse examiner following triage assessment. Service is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A child protection clinic for children and youth up to age 18 who may have been maltreated.
Services include outpatient child health assessments by a specialized team (physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and child life specialists), consultation and advice for physicians and other professionals who have concerns that a child may be at risk of abuse and neglect, links to a network of physicians and other professionals specializing in the assessment and treatment of child abuse, education about the health assessment of child abuse and neglect (through presentations, workshops, and research updates), and guidance and support in collecting and presenting forensic evidence of child abuse. Referrals accepted from health care providers, police and law enforcement, Ministry of Children and Family Development, and delegated Aboriginal agencies. Serves the Fraser Health region (Abbotsford, Boston Bar, Burnaby, Chilliwack, Coquitlam, Delta, Hope, Langley, Maple Ridge, Mission, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Surrey, and White Rock). Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, by appointment.

Provides group therapy for people who are managing mental health issues.
Therapy groups are available for adults experiencing emotional difficulties such as anxiety, stress, grief, depression, adjustment disorders and other conditions affecting their mental health. Serves Surrey. Contact the Urgent Care Response Clinic (Surrey Memorial Hospital) to request a referral for group therapy (phone: 604-953-6200 or fax: 604-584-2775). Self-referrals accepted. A clinician will conduct a phone intake and a Zoom orientation will be set up with Group Therapy Services. Groups are offered Monday to Friday, mornings or afternoons. No evening or weekend groups are available.

Mental health and addictions care centre offering a patient-centered and culturally appropriate environment for adults age 19 and older who are in need of urgent care but do not require hospitalization.
Services include rapid access to crisis stabilization, assessment, treatment initiation, and referral to community support services; staff work with clients to identify needs and build on coping skills and resilience while creating a treatment plan. Utilizes medication-assisted treatments (opioid agonist therapy) such as methadone. Also includes laundry and shower facilities, snacks, and a group room for healing circles (smudging ceremonies and drumming). Staffed by physicians, clinical counsellors, social workers, mental health workers, psychiatrists, nurses, homeless outreach workers, and a pharmacist; doctors and nurses can use Telehealth to access mental health and substance use care expertise in real time for clients. Self-referral or referral from a service provider accepted. Language interpretation service is available. Primarily serves Surrey, though serves Delta in the evenings and on weekends. Hours are 8:30 am to 8:30 pm daily. Services provided on a walk-in basis or by scheduled appointment; last walk-in appointment is at 7 pm.
