Youth court services assist in developing diversion programs, explaining charges, and court preparation. Also offers counselling and referrals to victims of crime. An Indigenous Victim Service Worker provides trauma-informed and culturally relevant services for Indigenous survivors of all ages and genders who have experienced recent or historic sexual assault. Services include counselling, emotional and cultural support, information, referrals, and assistance with form completion (Crime Victim Assistance Program (CCVAP) applications, Victim Impact Statements, etc.).   A full-time, culturally-appropriate outpatient program providing mental wellness and substance use programs, and outpatient counselling for the Indigenous population in the Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) region. Works with multiple agencies to provide appropriate treatment and access to services across the care continuum. Develops healing and wellness plans which work with individuals' current life circumstances and capabilities. Provides individual, couple, family, and group counselling, as well as workshops on topics such as personal wellness healing plans, healthy relationships, cultural activities, and non-violent communications. Programming is positioned as low barrier and accessible for a wide range of clients. LGBQTQ-friendly. Accepts walk-ins, self-referrals, and organizational referrals. Hours are 8:30 am to 8:30 pm Monday to Friday.

  Provides support and liaison to Indigenous clients exiting the Vancouver Coastal Health withdrawal management services to assist with the transition from withdrawal towards a drug-free lifestyle.

  Provides support and liaison to Indigenous clients exiting the Vancouver Coastal Health withdrawal management services to assist with the transition from withdrawal towards a drug-free lifestyle. Services include help in developing and implementing a treatment and/or aftercare plan. Also provides connection to other addiction and community services as needed, the opportunity to be part of client peer support and educational groups, and follow-up. Referral accepted from self and other; walk-in or call for an appointment. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 Mondays, 10 am to 4:30 pm Tuesdays, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm Wednesdays, and 8:30 am to 11 am Thursdays.

  Native Courtworkers facilitate access to justice by assisting Indigenous people in conflict with the law who are involved in the criminal justice system to obtain fair, just, equitable and culturally sensitive treatment. Services include referral to legal services, as well as information and advice concerning rights, responsibilities, and options. Also provides advocacy and liaises with justice personnel to help overcome communication barriers through information that increases understanding of the perspective of the Indigenous accused. Offers court accompaniment, and can interpret the court process and provide translators. Advises about alternative justice processes and community-based justice initiatives if available, and provides referral to other community services to address underlying issues. Youth court services assist in developing diversion programs, explaining charges, and court preparation. Also offers counselling and referrals to victims of crime. Serves New Westminster and Vancouver. Office hours are 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Jointly funded by Ministry of Attorney General and Department of Justice.
