  Offers free legal information, advocacy, and representation to low-income individuals, including those living with mental illness and/or experiencing homelessness or insecure housing.

  Offers free legal information, advocacy, and representation to low-income individuals, including those living with mental illness and/or experiencing homelessness or insecure housing. Provides information and support to resolve income, housing, and family law problems. Assists with welfare benefits, debt issues, tenancy disputes, mental health and human rights, and child protection concerns. Staff work with clients, government agencies, and service providers. Poverty law intake hours are 9:30 am to 11:30 am Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Child protection advocacy intake hours are 1 pm to 4 pm Mondays. Appointments are not required for intake. Hours are 9:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.

  Provides a range of client-centred support activities for people who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or difficult to house.

  Provides a range of client-centred support activities for people who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or difficult to house. Outreach workers meet with individuals where they are - on the street, in a shelter, or in a temporary place - to determine housing needs, and provide referrals to services to meet immediate needs such as emergency shelter, food, clothing, and blankets. Connects individuals to housing options by providing support with the application, move-in process, appointments and/or housing viewings, and liaison with landlords; rent subsidies may be available to support this process. Provides links to culturally appropriate services, as well as referrals to other support such as health care, counselling, and addiction recovery services. Serves Vancouver's Grandview-Woodlands neighbourhood. Hours are 9:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 2:30 pm daily. Funded by BC Housing.

  Offers recreational, social, and life skills community integration programs for individuals with a mental health disability, including a women's group.

  Offers recreational, social, and life skills community integration programs for individuals with a mental health disability, including a women's group. The women's lounge offers a safe place and social connection for those who identify as women. There is a computer room for use by members. Hot showers and laundry facilities are available. A hot lunch with snacks, fruit, tea, and coffee are served at 11:30 am daily; cost is $1 for mental health consumers. Coffee is free. A tax clinic is available for low-income, homeless, and/or marginally housed individuals with ID, tax slips, and any relevant receipts; drop by the second floor on tax clinic days during March and April. Hours are 1 pm to 4 pm Tuesdays; it's recommended to arrive at 12:30 pm. A membership is required to access all services; membership intake hours are 2 pm to 4 pm Wednesdays. Drop-in centre hours are from 8:30 am to 6:45 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am to 5 pm weekends and holidays. Services may be available in Punjabi or Spanish, depending on staffing; does not have access to a language interpretation service.

  Provides easy access to primary health care services for people with mental health issues and people living with homelessness.

  Provides easy access to primary health care services for people with mental health issues and people living with homelessness. Drop-in clinic offers wound care, treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, immunizations, health education, women's health care, referrals, and other health services. In partnership with Vancouver Aboriginal Health Society, offers monthly visits from the Women's Mobile Primary Care Program, which offers low barrier, culturally safe primary healthcare using a medicine wheel approach to female-identifying clients who face barriers to accessing health care. Clinic schedule is subject to change; call for information. Offered in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health.

  Operates semi-independent living units which provide subsidy and community living support for people with a mental health disability, and additional semi-independent units which provide a more intensive level of support. The Supported and Super Independent Living (SIL/SSIL) programs are designed to help adults with serious and persistent mental illness live independently in subsidized market rental apartments. Provides personalized support, regular visits, help establishing goals and building life skills, and referrals to community services. Referral required from Vancouver Coastal Health's Mental Health and Substance Use Supported Housing Services (MHSUSH).

  Provides second-stage transitional housing for women (inclusive of cisgender and transgender women) without children who have a mental health diagnosis and/or are fleeing violence.

  Provides second-stage transitional housing for women (inclusive of cisgender and transgender women) without children who have a mental health diagnosis and/or are fleeing violence. Designed for adult women transitioning toward greater independence and who can safely reside in a single-occupancy unit within a communal house setting. Women must agree to a sober living environment with no substances or alcohol on site, participate in goal setting and life skills programming, be able to self-manage medications, and be independent with daily living tasks. Length of stay is up to 18 months. Fees are calculated based on 30 percent of income or shelter portion amount for those on income assistance or Persons With Disabilities (PWD). No pets allowed. Wheelchair accessible. Initial phone screening hours are generally 8:30 am to 11 pm daily; voicemails are answered promptly in the morning. Funded by BC Housing.
