  Provides drop-in services to all self-identified women and their children in the community.

  Provides drop-in services to all self-identified women and their children in the community. Services include supportive counselling for those in crisis, advocacy, referrals to community resources, a social space, and coffee, tea, and snacks. Individuals also have access to computers, fax, phone, and client mail services. A free store is available for those in need of women’s clothing, shoes, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, and bedding. Hours are 10 am to 2 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

  Provides 36 subsidized, transitional housing units as a supportive second-stage program for women (cisgender and transgender) and non-binary and Two-Spirit people, with or without children, who have experienced violence or who are at risk of violence, as well as those who are impacted by abuse, homelessness and/or substance misuse.

  Provides 36 subsidized, transitional housing units as a supportive second-stage program for women (cisgender and transgender) and non-binary and Two-Spirit people, with or without children, who have experienced violence or who are at risk of violence, as well as those who are impacted by abuse, homelessness and/or substance misuse. Accepts children up to age 19. Services include information and referrals, advocacy, tenancy readiness, and support with life skills, recovery, and health and well-being. Residents must participate in the program, including attending meetings and working towards their goals. Participants may also attend support groups run at Rose Harbour for residents and women in the community. Maximum stay is two years. Also offers 19 units of long-term, subsidized housing for vulnerable women age 55 and over. A risk assessment determines applicant priority for the program. Personal ID is required. Wheelchair accessible. Pets are allowed. Applications are available online or from the office. Office hours 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by BC Housing.

  Offers support groups to clients of the Campbell River and North Island Transition Society and to women in the community.

  Offers support groups to clients of the Campbell River and North Island Transition Society and to women in the community. Support groups vary in their content in order to address specific issues related to healing and change; child care is available. Healthy Healing group deals with abuse-related topics; offers a safe space for women to connect, learn coping strategies, raise awareness, share information, and strive for a life free from abuse. SMART Recovery groups support women who have chosen to abstain or are considering abstinence from any type of addictive behavior. Also offers short-term one-on-one supportive counselling for relationship issues or recovery from addiction. Funded as a Stopping the Violence (STV) Counselling Program by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG). Outreach services are available to women who are not in a residential program and/or live in isolated communities where their ability to access services is difficult. Services include an on-site outreach worker who provides referrals, and where possible, access to a safe home. They also provide information on violence and abuse, and education on violence prevention/intervention.
