Provides current and up to date health education regarding risk reduction and other issues related to sexually transmitted infections and blood-borne infections. Open to everyone and supportive of persons who are at greater risk of harms associated with substance use or who are sexually active and not connected to health care services. Provides safer sex supplies, including condoms. Provides Take Home Naloxone Kits (Narcan) and training. STI testing is available Monday through Thursday. Call or text to book an appointment. Provides harm reduction supplies, along with harm reduction education and referrals to health, mental health and substance use, and other social supports. Sharps disposal, distribution of safer injection, safer inhalation and safer sex supplies, along with health information to reduce harm. Offers point of care rapid HIV and hepatitis C (HCV) testing.   Short-term emergency housing and support services for up to four youth of all genders, ages 13 to 18, who may be homeless or needing a break from a stressful family situation (including unsafe and dangerous situations); stay is up to 14 days (which in some cases can be extended) with 24-hour staffing and an enforced housing curfew.

  Short-term emergency housing and support services for up to four youth of all genders, ages 13 to 18, who may be homeless or needing a break from a stressful family situation (including unsafe and dangerous situations); stay is up to 14 days (which in some cases can be extended) with 24-hour staffing and an enforced housing curfew. Expectation is that youth are in school, working, or are committed to a daily plan. Includes nutritious meals, shared rooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Services include information and referral, clothing, bus tickets for appointments, and help with income assistance, youth agreements, and educational opportunities; can also arrange for counselling and family mediation through MCFD. After-care support is also provided with the aim to help youth return to their home safely or to an alternate living environment. Accepts referral from self or other, though does not accept youth who are using drugs or alcohol, detoxing or have severe mental health issues; youth must be able to care for themselves and not be a risk to themselves or others. Not wheelchair accessible; cannot accommodate pets. Priority given to youth from the North Shore and Sea-to-Sky areas; will accept youth from Metro Vancouver area if beds are available.

  The Seniors and Families Housing Outreach Program provides housing and social services for individuals living on the North Shore who are homeless or at risk of homelessness through assessment, assistance with personal goals and life skills, and connection with housing and services.

  The Seniors and Families Housing Outreach Program provides housing and social services for individuals living on the North Shore who are homeless or at risk of homelessness through assessment, assistance with personal goals and life skills, and connection with housing and services. The Homeless Prevention Program focuses on housing loss prevention by assisting individuals and families at risk of experiencing homelessness due to crisis or transition. Reaching Home serves seniors ages 50 and above experiencing homelessness and provides one-to-one support; assistance filling in applications, landlord mediation, specialized life skills such as budgeting, simple tax preparation, end of life planning; and administers the Canada-British Columbia Housing Benefit for eligible individuals not qualifying for SAFER or Rental Assistance. May provide financial subsidies on a very limited capacity. Supporting Seniors to Remain Housed provides longer term interventions to address seniors with chronic tenancy issues typically due to complex needs which may be related to health, cognitive functioning, isolation, depression, mental health, elder abuse, and financial management. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Funded in part by BC Housing.

Services include emotional support; advocacy; orientation and information about the justice system; court and police accompaniment; information, referral, and liaison regarding other community services; and form completion assistance. Multilingual services are available. Serves North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and Bowen Island; also supports individuals outside these areas who are a victim of the above crimes and the matter is scheduled in North Vancouver Provincial Court.
