Provides home share placements for adults living with a developmental disability or other disabilities, which include a range of supports depending on needs.
Also supports people to live in licensed group homes staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week; professional supports include healthcare, communication, personal relationships, community inclusion, and daily living. Level of support depends on needs, but may include assistance with cooking, personal care, laundry, healthcare, recreation, daily living skills, and personal networks. Referral required from Community Living BC.

Assists adults age 65 and over who require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include but are not limited to light housekeeping, grocery shopping, friendly visits, light yard work, information and referral, and transportation to medical appointments. Serves the qathet region including Texada Island. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. Call to determine eligibility and request a required intake. Office hours are 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way British Columbia (UWBC).

Work-related support includes a discovery process to learn more about each individual in order to make suitable job matches, and assistance with resume writing, work search, interview skills, and other job skills. Skill building is developed through job shadowing, work experience, and other personalized training opportunities. Kindred ReBuild is a social enterprise that collects furniture and building materials and turns them into affordable goods; offers opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to volunteer or work. Also provides initial on-site job support until work site supports are in place. Referrals are through WorkBC or Community Living BC. Offered in partnership with the WorkBC Employment Services Centre - Powell River (Career Link).

Provides information, advocacy, and support to families with children and youth up to 18 years old, where Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Complex Development Behavioural Conditions (CDBC), or other neurodevelopmental conditions are suspected or diagnosed.
Key Workers also liaise with and coordinate referrals to Sunnyhill Health Centre for Children. Services are provided in the home, at the Cranberry Child Development and Family Resource Centre, or in the community. Open referral.

Occupational therapy focuses on fine motor development, sensory integration, self-care, and activities of daily living skills.
Physiotherapy focuses on motor (movement) development, posture and body alignment, physical abilities and play skills, and preventing, overcoming, or minimizing physical challenges. Services are offered to children up to age six, and for occupational therapy only, also to school-age children. As occupational therapy has large caseloads some services are delivered to groups in order to be able to serve more children and their families. Open referral.
