  Provides 38 beds in an all-gender-inclusive shelter for adults age 19 and over who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.

  Provides 38 beds in an all-gender-inclusive shelter for adults age 19 and over who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. Operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services includes meals, showers, laundry, case planning with a holistic harm reduction approach and referrals to community services. Offers an on-site overdose prevention site for harm reduction support, and secure storage for personal belongings, including a registered storage area for bikes. Shopping carts are not permitted. Provides access to a resource room with books, games, and movies, as well as a bulletin board with employment and housing listings, and a wellness focused outdoor area. Wheelchair accessible. Pet friendly with a pet agreement required. Also offers a Mat Program with six mats available to all genders from 7 pm to 9 pm nightly throughout the year. In-person registration for this program is on a first-come, first-served basis daily at 7 pm. The mat program offers overnight shelter, dinner, breakfast, showers and laundry. Shelter diversion and self-referrals for the Bartley Shelter are available to individuals accessing the mat program. Also provides six emergency overflow mats between November 1 and March 31 when weather is extreme and a community Extreme Weather Response (EWR) alert is called. Funded by BC Housing.

  Supportive housing that offers a safe and sober place to reside for men and women ages 19 years and over who are in recovery from problematic substance use.

  Supportive housing that offers a safe and sober place to reside for men and women ages 19 years and over who are in recovery from problematic substance use. Uses a 12-step model of recovery, incorporating 12-step support groups, education, group therapy, and relapse prevention. Residents must be medically and physically stable, and willing to participate in household activities such as meal preparation, and follow house rules. Fees are charged monthly on a sliding scale based on participant income. Self-referral accepted; see application form on website. Facility hours are 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. House is not wheelchair accessible. Recovery house is registered with the Assisted Living Registry, Ministry of Health.

Helps individuals access rental housing in the private market, through support services such as referrals to housing options, information on other housing subsidies, housing search assistance, and rent supplements. Serves Vernon. Offers a Homeless Outreach Provider, who provides outreach to people who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or difficult to house. Determines housing needs, and provides referrals to services to meet immediate needs such as emergency shelter, food, clothing, and blankets. Also provides help with obtaining identification and income assistance. Connects individuals to housing options by providing support with the application, move-in process, appointments and/or housing viewings, and liaison with landlords; rent subsidies may be available to support this process. Provides links to culturally appropriate services, as well as referrals to other support such as health care, counselling, and addiction recovery services. Operates from a harm reduction lens. Provides a semi-private room, all meals, intensive case management, and access to 24/7 community support workers. Curfew at 2 am. Provides support through case planning to help clients working towards independence and permanent housing as quickly as possible based on their identified goals. Works closely with other Turning Points programs to help support individuals and assist them to transition to market housing. Referral required from shelter or community agency.   Provides transitional supportive housing for individuals who are experiencing homelessness.

  Provides transitional supportive housing for individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Priority is given to seniors and people living with disabilities, who are mainly living in shelters and ready to move into more independent housing with supports; others will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Accepts couples. Services include meals, laundry services, life skills training, individualized care plans, case management, and connections to community services. Residents also have access to Interior Health services such as episodic primary care, wound care, medication support, clinical referrals, and connections to mental health and substance use treatment. Staff are on site 24/7. Referrals come from the Coordinated Access and Assessment process, and must include a Vulnerability Assessment (VAT), and application through the BC Housing Supportive Housing Registry at www.bchousing.org/housing-assistance/housing-with-support/supportive-housing. Services include meals, showers, laundry facilities, personal hygiene products, first aid, and access to local calling. Harm reduction supplies available to guests only. Other services include life skills training, employment programs, counselling, 12-step groups, case planning, and referrals to community resources. A personal locker and a storage locker for a bicycle are available. Wheelchair accessible. Pets are permitted; staff to be notified on entry and pet agreement signed. Harm-reduction focus; accepts intoxicated individuals on condition of respectful behaviour. Violence will not be tolerated. Referral accepted from self or other.
